Save Together.
Achieve More.

ENABLIA Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society brings people together to save consistently toward five member purposes: Study Abroad, Education at Private Universities in Africa, Business Funding, Land Procurement, and Building Projects. Those five purposes are funded through eight distinct loan types, each with its own eligibility and approval rules. ENABLIA supports its members to achieve more, in partnership with experts in the areas we enable.

Frequently asked questions

Who can join?

Any adult resident in Nigeria who wants to save towards study abroad or a private African university. Every application is reviewed by an administrator.

What is the Fixed Buffer Fund?

Fixed Buffer Fund (FBF) and Savings Allocation

Every contribution you make is divided into two parts: 25% goes into your Fixed Buffer Fund (FBF), while the remaining 75% is credited to your regular savings balance. Both balances are displayed separately on your dashboard for easy tracking.

The FBF serves as a financial security reserve for the Cooperative, providing additional protection against loans that may not be fully recovered from a member.

Withdrawal Policy:

  • Members with outstanding loans: The FBF becomes withdrawable only after the loan has been fully repaid with interest accrued.
  • Members without loans: The FBF can be withdrawn at the end of the Cooperative's financial year, which falls on December 10, subject to the Cooperative's applicable financial regulations.

This structure helps the Cooperative maintain a financial safety buffer while enabling members to build their savings and access their funds in accordance with the withdrawal policy.

How much can I borrow?

Up to four times your confirmed savings, so your savings always cover at least 25% of the loan. The Fixed Buffer Fund does not count towards this.

When can I apply for a loan?

After your category's waiting period, counted from the day your membership is activated.

How Do I Make Savings Contributions and Loan Repayments?

You can make your savings contributions and loan repayments via bank transfer. After making your payment, upload your payment receipt through the platform. Your account balance will be updated once an administrator verifies and confirms the payment.

Do I earn anything for referrals?

You get a referral link once approved. Referral rewards are only paid once, as soon as the referee pays the membership fees.
